Hello!
My name is Amy. I am the founder and lead therapist at the Neurodiversity Center of Katy. I've been working with teens and families for over twenty years. I have experience working with teenagers struggling with behavioral or mood regulation difficulties, Autism, depression, low self-esteem, relationship/social issues, anxiety, ADHD, traumatic events including sexual or physical abuse, and difficulties adjusting to change.

My clients report that I am positive, easy to work with and very knowledgeable.
My Story
I've known that I wanted to be a therapist since I was a young girl. I pursued a bachelor's Degree in psychology from Southwest Texas State University in 2003. I earned a Masters Degree in Community Counseling from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas.

I later pursued my Doctorate degree from St. Mary's University. My focus for the Doctorate was in Counselor Education and Supervision. I completed the program and am working on completing my dissertation.

My approach is relational, pragmatic and effective. I am married with four children. I enjoy being creative, cooking and listening to my vinyl collection.
